mnemotope is our community magazine, the name of which comes from a term that’s used in writings about archaeological finds. a mnemotope is something (often historical) that compresses the viewer’s experience of time; allowing them to be in the period in which the object came to be, at the site when it was excavated and in the museum looking at it.

we started the magazine to gather and hold space for all voices from all backgrounds. we don't put restrictions on grammar, writing style or form, which traditional publishing often uses to exclude people from print. your stories, observations, drawings are just as important as any!!

this edition features a coincidental bog-y theme, heartfelt and intimate texts, correspondences, transcribed spoken words amongst a whole world of other lovely things. over 45 individual voices bounce off of one another within these pages.
